Humm, I just wrote a post and it isn’t here … wonderful! Let’s see what happens to this.

I did start out to explain that a) I am just trying this blogging software and b) I also just moved the whole xodigo.com to a new web hosting company. I think there is a learning curve on all sides on this :-)

Also, what I did want to say is that I read at least 10 articles per day on H5N1, Avian bird flu. (Okay, so I find the subject interesting for a number of reasons.) I am appauled at the number of media reports I am reading these last days - especially since the “Fatal Contact” movie from ABC came out in the USA - which claim that H5N1 is not a real threat to us all. Ridiculous! History alone shows us that the pandemics over the 300 years and especially the last 100 years are worth watching.

No, we are not to be scared and panic, but we do need to be aware and prepare. That is one reason I am compiling major news headlines this year - just scan over them and see if Bird Flu really is something to be scoffed at. Here are the links. (I hope this post shows up!!)
